How long does Power Bleaching take?
The process takes approximately one hour. The results are usually seen right after your first appointment. Darker stained teeth may require multiple tooth whitening sessions.
How long do the results last?
The results of Power Bleaching generally last 00 years. Power bleaching can be performed multiple times, so if your teeth lose the shade of white that you like, you can return for touch-up sessions to keep your smile dazzling white..
What type of stains are the easiest to remove?
Each patient's teeth are unique and will respond differently to the tooth whitening treatment. Spots due to aging, smoking and some prescriptions (such as tetracycline) can be lightened several shades in just one hour. The degree of teeth whitening will vary by patient.
What's the advantage of Power Bleaching over home treatment kits?
Home treatment solutions are less strong and may require more applications than the Power Bleaching Dr. Schaffer performs in his office. The in-office treatment usually requires just one hour and is done without messy trays and mixes.
Are there any side effects from the teeth whitening process?
Some tooth whitening patients may experience increased sensitivity. This usually lasts about one day. If your teeth feel sensitive after your power bleaching appointment, any discomfort can be taken care of with aspirin or other over-the-counter pain medication.
