Cosmetic bonding is a relatively easy and non-invasive way to correct a wide variety of dental problems including:

Dr. Schaffer uses a material called resin that can be shaped to correct flaws, damage, and decay in your tooth. Cosmetic bonding is hardened with an ultraviolet light to ensure a permanent, natural looking bond. Cosmetic bonding requires very little advance preparation and a minimal amount of enamel is removed during the process.
Your teeth will be gently shaped so that the bond will hold well. Dr. Schaffer will select a composite resin color that matches the color of your tooth. The putty-like resin is then applied to the tooth, molded, and smoothed to the desired shape. The entire Cosmetic Bonding procedure takes between 30 and 60 minutes for each tooth and can be completed in just one office visit.
Cosmetic Bonding generally lasts up to 10 years, but may require some minor repairs. You may brush and floss your bonded teeth just as you do your natural teeth.
