Features of an Award-Winning Smile

Smiling at someone is often the best way to make a friendly first impression. A smile can reveal so much about your personality to those around you. An award-winning smile is one that projects confidence and style. There are many ways to achieve such a smile and Dr. Schaffer would love to help you.

If your smile is affected by chips cracks or gaps, then porcelain veneers are a great option to help update your smile. Porcelain veneers can easily cover up gaps or chips in your teeth. Veneers are thin shells of porcelain that illuminate your smile and smooth out any inconsistencies. They look like real teeth and can help correct a variety of aesthetic problems.

Having beautiful white teeth is another feature of a beautiful smile. Over the years, the foods and beverages you consume can stain your teeth, making them yellow or brown. Our tooth whitening process at Dr. Schaffer's office can help to remove those stains, making your teeth shine brilliantly.

Crowns, bridges and implants are other options that can help to replace missing teeth, giving you that full, complete, and beautiful smile that you’ve always dreamed about.

If you live in the Boulder or Denver Metro area and are interested in learning more about achieving a brilliant, beautiful smile, please contact Dr. Schaffer's office to set up an appointment.

The Advantages of Dental Implants

If you are missing one or more of your teeth are looking for a more permanent solution, then dental implants may be just for you. Dental implants provide a strong, lasting fix to those gaps in your smile.

Dental implants are designed to look like and replace any missing teeth in your mouth. They are implanted surgically and eventually fuse with your jawbone, creating an extremely strong and stable replacement that is unlikely to ever fall out. Unlike crowns or bridges, dental implants do not require the support of the surrounding teeth because they are anchored individually into your jaw.

Dr. Schaffer will work with you personally to determine if dental implants are a good choice for you. Generally, you must be in good overall health, as well as have healthy gums and jaw to support the anchors for the dental implants. Because it is a surgical procedure, the implants may take longer to heal than other procedures, however the end results will look and function just like your natural teeth.

If you live in the Boulder or Denver Metro area and are interested in learning more about dental implants, please contact Dr. Schaffer to schedule an appointment.

The Porcelain Veneers Process

Restoring your smile, or achieving the smile you have always hoped for, is easy with porcelain veneers. Porcelain veneers are thin, durable shells of porcelain that are bonded on the surface of your tooth in order to solve a wide variety of aesthetic problems. They are virtually indistinguishable from the rest of your teeth; creating a beautiful and natural look to your smile.

The decision to visit Dr. Schaffer to talk about porcelain veneers is the first step in creating a perfect smile. During your first visit, the types of corrections will be discussed and an evaluation of your teeth will be made, to determine if porcelain veneers are the best method for you.

During your next visit, Dr. Schaffer will prepare the surfaces of your teeth that will be bonded to the veneers and he will also create a bite impression. The bite impression ensures that the porcelain veneers be created to fit the exact specifications of your smile, creating a look that appears natural.

While your permanent veneers are being created, Dr. Schaffer will affix temporary veneers that will look and feel just like natural teeth. Once the permanent veneers are completed, Dr. Schaffer will replace the temporary veneers with your permanent veneers, completing the process. Your new veneers will look fantastic and will be easy to care for.

If you live in the Boulder or Denver Metro area and would like to learn more about the process for porcelain veneers, please contact Dr. Schaffer to schedule an appointment today.

Affording Porcelain Veneers

If you have considered porcelain veneers in the past but decided against them because of the cost, we have several options to make them more affordable for you. Achieving a beautiful smile with porcelain veneers at a cost right for you may be more possible than you think.

Cosmetic dentistry, once a luxury, is becoming more attainable for those who may have previously passed on improving the looks of their smiles. Dr. Schaffer and his team make your porcelain veneers more affordable by offering financing and by working with various insurance agencies to help fit your smile transformation into your budget.

Financing

Here at Dr. Schaffer's office we use Care Credit to help you finance your cosmetic procedure. If approved, you can pay for your procedure at a pace that is right for you, through a short-term or long-term low, at low or no interest. You can use Care Credit to finance procedures from $300 to $25,000.

Insurance

We work with most major dental insurance providers to help cover the costs of your porcelain veneers and we would be happy to file your claims for you. Unfortunately, very few insurance providers will cover the whole cost of the procedure, therefore, a combination of insurance and our financing options may be best for you.

If you live in the Boulder or Denver Metro area and are interested in learning more about ways to afford porcelain veneers, please contact Dr. Schaffer to set up an appointment.
