The Waterlase MD uses a combination of laser energy and water, a process called HydroPhotonics™, to offer a less invasive, more precise mode of treatment. This makes your dental experience faster and more comfortable.
Although Dr. Schaffer uses the Waterlase primarily on cavities, it can also perform many other dental services. The machine emits cool, laser-energized water particles to clean out the cavity with very little, if any, discomfort, and lowered risk of infection.
The Waterlase can also be used to reshape gums so that your smile shows more teeth.
